Same. Gigantic is terrible in comparison but they are publishing that. Makes no sense to me.
Best thing about Battleborn for me is the humour. I used replay missions over and over again just to listen to Nova and Oscar Mike.
Here's hoping for its return.
Battleborn was a rock-solid coop/sp game ruined by terrible marketing and online-only requirement, it managed to grow a small following. We need Battleborn back because it deserves it.
Battleborn definitely had player issues after the first month but I think it would do well these days now that Hero shooters are more popular. The PvP was really good and I know some people enjoyed the PvE too though it wasn't interesting to me.
Overwatch was much more well-known, had better marketing etc.
With Overwatch 2 now having roughly settled into its role as the genre-definer, people have become somewhat jaded to the point where I think there's room for Battleborn to reappear.
It does need some gameplay improvements though if it wants to succeed this time around.
