Illnesses and Amnesia achievements

Hello, how can I activate some illnesses? What they do? And what has to be done to obtain those three "Suffer through Amnesia" achievements? Thx.

Bug is one of the creature that add to your dps, one of his skill is amnesia, you'll earn crystals for how far you progressed before using amnesia, shop is only there if you want to go faster

I only know about those random appearing dragonflies. 1 gives 1 crystal. Can take years until you reach the 50k crystals for 250 amnesia ...

like the developer said, when you get the minion called Bug you need to level it until 100 i think and the skill will open up for Amnesia, once you pay for it a prompt will pop up asking if you really want to use amnesia. when you use it you will start back level one with no minions again and zero teeth, but the illness option will be open and you can purchase a few illnesses to beef up your attacks. However, I read on another post you should wait until at least after lv 100 because you may get some equipment after that level. I stupidly started amnesia around lv 85 and didnt get my first piece of gear, but am stronger because of illnesses anyway... sins are your crystals and you can see how many youre going to get before you amnesia in the stats menu. This is no actual money spent

That's actually bs. Crystals is the the MT currency with which 200 you can buy "quick ascensions". They are like rubies in CH (also dropped for free). And "Sins" are the "HeroSouls" which have +10% DPS. So never confuse the expressions. Crystals should remain after ascensions anyways.

i havent played much and theres not a lot of information out there for this game yet so that is just what i have seen so far to report. as so far as the op, in regards to activating illnesses and suffering through amnesia achievments, what i said above and what the developer said, upgrade the bug minion to 100 and activate the amensia icon. all bs aside

I wonder how much you must progress in-game to make quicker ascensions. I guess I don't want to go to lvl800 and collect clothes parts for my character without any purpose. In CH I needed about 60M HS and the special ancients to do ascensions within a minute ...

When you do go through amnesia, don't use all of the sin, by saving them it builds up DPS% increase, just use a couple each time. Bulimia is a really good illness to level since it reduces wait time on the skills which helps a lot, that and autophobia since it reduces pet cost (pretty much do the ones that have max limits first)

Oh and save the crystals for the double damage, it is permanent and can stack.

There are 3 different ways to get the amnesia achievements. The first way is to spend real money in shop and get "instant ascension", which costs a pretty freaking penny if you want all 250 for achievement. The second way is to unlock the Pet/Minion named "Bug", no this is NOT the bee/wasp that randomly appears in screen. With this pet/minion you lvl it up to lvl 75 and its "amnesia" skill will unlock. As soon as you buy this skill it automatically activates and resets you back to floor 1 so be warned as that is what happens when you "amnesia". The third way is to make your way to floor 105 and beat the boss. I have noticed that after beating floor 105 a little icon appears under the shop icon that lets you ascend/amnesia.

Also some1 posted something about you gain crystals when you amnesia. That is NOT true. You gain SINS not crystals. Crystals are used to buy the shop items where as Sins are used to buy illness' in the illness tab. Also Sins give you +10% dps per sin. So 10 sins gives you 100%dps. I have 18,182 sins after using amnesia(got to floor 3800 which gave me around 70k-80k after amnesia as you get more depending on how far you get before ascending/amnesia). This means from my 18,182 SINS (not crystals) I passively get +181,820% dps.

Lastly I just want to add that on ascension you restart back at floor 1 with no pets or upgrades. You do keep these following things however
1. ALL sins that you had b4 ascension and your new 1 for this ascension
2. All gear like shirts, shoes, ect.
3. All crystals and things bought with them like double dmg in the shop.
4. All pet enhancements acquired from killing higher lvl bosses. These are the ones under the "Pet Enhancements" Icon and will unlock later as you progress.
5. All achievements and achievement progress.
6 Finally all purchased illness under the illness tab.

I recommend getting to floor 101 and beating it b4 amnesia each time if possible since you get 1 random gear (shirt, pants, ect.) per play through for that floor guaranteed.Enjoy
