Performance point of view I didnt see any performance drops from current engine.
The issue I got is personal - change in colors made it hard for me to see enemy infantry.
I got no such issues today , I can detect infantry pixels on 100m+
But performance was fine.
Second week end test was even smoother.
And also plenty of people with clearer scopes and reticles even over native on ue4.
UE5 is night and day better immersion and visuals.
I hate playing ue4 live squad now.
Keep your calm and check yourself
I watched over 11 dudes die in the same exact hallways because NOBODY could move properly due to performance. It's COD-like how easily 1 person in a room can kill groups of 10 or more now because the game runs terrible for everyone
gta6 on high will run better and im not even joking about this.
Squad and UE5 is the worst combination any dev team could have possibly picked.
If the game is unplayable and remains unplayable when the update releases then you can chance your arm at a refund.
Asking steam for a refund because you THINK the game won't run at some point in the future is not likely to be a successful strategy.
I don't agree with the way developers keep changing the min specs on games we've purchased, but that's because the majority of players were happy to switch to digital downloads instead of owning the games on disk - so now we don't technically own anything and are free to be screwed over whenever devs feel like it.
It's unfortunate but here we are - now people need to stop buying from companies that are happy to do this to dissuade other companies from doing the same thing, but most gamers are turbotards that pre-order and simp for corporations that treat their customers like trash.... so even if the entire industry crashes and has to be rebuilt from the ground up, the mongoloids will still reward shady practices and we'll all wind up in the same boat again.
