Each test they continue to add textures and see how hardware reacts.
Remember - in the first beta test we got purple hubs , with no textures Kappa.
I have same setup, i5 9400f, SSD, 16gb ram ddr4 and a 1660 ti dual oc 6gb and i dont get many times over 60-80fps on servers with 100 players and while in intense combat, with all settings on MED! Teach me!
Also I had to upgrade my 1660 Super to run the EU5 playtest. Unless you're running it at like 70% resolution scale at low settings, you won't get a solid 60fps with it. Minimum requirements are upped to an RTX card 3060 and up, which is 50% faster than the 1660S. So no way you'll EU5 an acceptable framerate on every map with max players.
For the record I went from a 1660S to a RTX 4060 paired with a 5800x3d. EU5 is much more graphics card intensive than EU4 is. You simply won't make it with anything below a 3060 and that's confirmed by the devs, and my own experience with the two cards.
So, is that what we should expect with the UE5 update. They'll just keep nerfing it until were back to UE4?
