Don't sprint all the time. That's the best advice I can give you.

I just tested it on the range:

Sprinted until zero stamina with Light AT (VDV), then switched on the stopclock. crouch and Immediately switched to RPG and loaded a HEAT round.

Time it took to get ready to fire (stability bars fully aligned) was 10-12 seconds.

A whole minute has 60 seconds...

still too much, and sprinting doesnt affect it as much as just moving and watching the stabilization on the bottom widen up
at least let me prep my shot and then start moving, even doing that will destabilize
and you dont have to reply btw, i know youre a troll ICO lover, so save the excuses and the justifications

Just play Call of Duty then and stop complaining ;). There are easier solutions that take far less of your super precious time for you to come here and waste your time. I don't think the devs will do much about the time it takes to stabilize your aim until the UE5 release where they dial back down on some of the ICO as well.

"just play cod"
just go to a real war instead of plaything this game for fun
just hold a 10kg pipe and see how easy it is to not fumble it all over the place like in this game
u want realism instead of cod? stop defending bad unrealistic gameplay mechanics

Thanks, been there.

Again - go play something else instead of complaining. No game is perfect - at least they're still working on Squad so far, ultimately they will dial back on it down with UE5 like I mentioned, they said so themselves. I guess you're too impatient. Hurrdurr just go to a real war zone, as if you're not a fat couch gamer.

Not defending ♥♥♥♥ by telling you they're going to change it first with the new engine update, but you do you man.

You sound like a kid from cod lobbies age, broken record.
they need to adjust it so its a up and down motion from being winded not left or right. also they need to bring back the lean but just at reduced angle .
Its called ICO 6.1 .
OWI decided to replace soldiers with 80yo and 35kg women.

Used to take 3 seconds , as IRL , to pinpoint the aim.
Right now, after sprint it will take you around 15 secs.

I wish to see OWI in UA war standing still for 15 secs to aim an RPG. May be this experience will change thier 'realism'
As an ex-french soldier , I can tell you , it takes 7 seconds the whole cycle to shoot an AT4 , including -
*Take it from your shoulder
*Remove security wire
*Take a knee
*Aim - Shoot

In game ''realism'' required you 10 secs just to aim , which is a buillshit.

I mean ... this is not real at all!
Those guys in actual war zone never heard of the ICO , they are not supposed to run and shoot! WTF!

OWI! Go explain UA soldiers , they are not realism like.
Don't need to run, take 3 steps and the stability bars are far apart and take least 3-5 seconds. It's not realistic, pretty idiotic. Armor was always pretty strong but since ICO they can stomp teams. Many games come down to who has the dominant armor teams. Thought OWI acknowledged the adverse performance of AT after ICO but either they didn't or just didn't care enough to do anything to rectify it.

They will dial it back with UE5.
They said so.
Yeah I agree they're slow but if they already told us they'll change it. Hence I don't get the constant moaning. 3 Seconds is if you're really familiar with it. I'd say standardizing it with the average fire time, with safety pin removed would be better. But rn Squad acts like you gotta remove the pin and then talk nicely to it, take it on a date. It is however very very usable and very potent, you can take out a lot of vehicles if not most with just LAT's and some riflemen if you can coordinate. Even if the vehicle armor hitboxes are the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ they are now. Come UE5. We'll get 30fps at 1080p but ♥♥♥♥ will be better in other zones.

Decreasing sway time is essentially a vehicle nerf. Do you want vehicles nerfed?

Considering vehicles are already extremely strong, yes.
