Is there a way to skip the intro movie?

Every time i start the game I have to watch a trailer of what squad is as a game. It takes forever and I can't skip it. Is there a setting that stops it?

for me too, but many players have reported issues with being unable to skip the into anymore.

What makes it extra weird: I used to skip the intro with Escape key and that stopped working some weeks ago. Now i left click to skip it, but i guess it can happen that nothing works anymore and you can no longer skip it.

Not sure if clearing cache maybe fixes it, have not tried.

for most games the -nointro or -novideo command in the steam launch options also works, have not tested with squad.

Some people have said they find the video file and delete it. Not sure how that would work if you verify files it will see that its missing.
I think, (not sure, might be a different issue) that some have said its an overlay that's doing that. Like an nvidia or discord overlay.
One thing is for sure i've seen a few posts like yours and i think you could search those and find an answer.

Navigate to your drive through file explorer that Squad is downloaded to. Mine is D:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Squad\SquadGame\Content\Movies and delete all of the videos from \Movies.

Apparently it can happen that no input works anymore to skip intro in Squad.
