But sometimes other players click faster than me and i am stuck in a clown squad hoping that the round would end as soon as possible.
When i am stuck in a squad where nobody speaks I don't care if my team wins. Those are 45minutes of my life wasted.
In every match - even if you have the time of your life - there are at least a few lost souls who have a miserable experience.
Squad can be the best or the worst multiplayer shooter ever. 2 hour matches would make the good times better but the bad times so much worse.
You can always leave the server and look for another in such case. You will always have that option. Also, if you are in such a bad team / squad, it is likely you are going to be losing. Here, game modes should be tweaked in a way that, one sided games should end much quicker than those playing out closely.
And, I am a new player with 60 hours, most of the games I had, I was like, it was so much fun, but it ended quickly. Those bad experiences are rare for me. I also tend to play in some specific servers, usually becoming fun.
So, there is no 'fix' or 'workaround' for short matches. It will always disappoint you. But if the games were really really long, that wouldn't make many people mad. You can always change squad, change server, or change team even if possible.
I would really like to see some game modes and servers with around 2-3 hours of match time on average. Wasting time on preparations and voting is horrible.
I would prefer something like 30 minutes to 4 hours. You are saying enjoy the game, but the thing here is my 'enjoy' always get interrupted because of short match times.
I am trying to explain, there is simply no big downside of having longer matches. But having shorter, there are plenty.
Id be more curious where this feeling is coming from. You haven't really explain why does it take 50 min for games to get really fun for you.
because firt 10-15 minutes of those 50 minutes of games are mostly just setting up bases, traveling, walking etc. When the adrenaline goes up, and start having fun in the mid or late game, it is usually a race for time to either win or lose. Games are simply too short.
Play Invasion game mode, it can go for the entire two hour duration sometimes.
Some people come into a game knowing they can't stay longer than an hour, for example. If the games lasted a lot longer those poor folk would never get to complete a game.
So? What are the rewards of completing a game? I am totally fine with not being able to complete a game I have started.
This is hardly ever the case, but it really depends. I think i remember one or two cases where an RAAS round actually did not end with one team at zero tickets, was 16-12 or so, ended after the time ran out, full 2 hours.
you can increase the ticket numbers of course to make rounds longer on average i suppose...
Why not?
I agree though. Sometimes matches feel too short in RAAS, just when things are getting good the match ends because of ticket bleed.
