Generally its not recommended, but in Squad it could probably give you a (slight) boost i suppose, just try it out, its not that something could break in the process. Just make sure you have comparable test results, ideally full server, same map, comparable activity etc.
To get better performance:
1. set game resolution to 720p
2. set BORDERLESS, this is a must for DLSS upscale to work, fullscreen doesn't work. Only borderless and exclusive fullscreen works with DLSS upscaling to native resolution of your screen, not standard fullscreen
3. enable DLSS balance
4. all other graphics settings to high or medium depends on the power of your PC
5. Shadows MUST be Medium, this takes the biggest performance hit
The first 3 settings MUST set exactly as mentioned above, else DLSS doesn't work at upscaling to your native resolution of your screen when running at lower resolution. If you have 4k screen and play at 720p, everything will be blurry without DLSS. Your game will look sharp and clear like native resolution even though you are running at 720p. Thanks to the power of DLSS upscaling, it's the evolution in gaming.
