black loading screen

I've redownloaded the game with no success. Why do I have to keep watching the unskippable launch video that ends with a black screen with infinite loading on the bottom right?

for some reason to get it to work have at-lest 50gb free on the ssd where squad is installed people on Reddit said this would work and it has for me i had 48gb free as soon as 50gb was available i could skip the intro and the game would load

It's because of the latest Galactic Contention update. If you don't have enough disk space the game won't load. Just open up some space on your SSD.
