how to use a Recon drone for CMD

how to use a drone for cmd? I can request a drone, highlight the field of view on the map, but I just don't have a button to connect to it, what am I doing wrong?

Its not incredibly intuitive, but after you click to call it in there is a 30 second timer for it to show up, then you click on the same icon on the left that you used to call it in to "enter" the drone.

I figured it out, the problem was that you need to use a command card, not a regular one. Also, the drone for some reason does not work in the polygon and I could not check it there
