No Audio Output

Haven't launched the game in a while and wanted to play it with some buddies but couldn't b/c my audio wasn't working. Checked the settings and where it says choose audio output, nothing popped up, it was just a grey bar. Tried reinstalling, still nothin. If you have a fix for this, please share it

Check the setup on windows first, if you use discord or something similar look for your device in your settings there, looks like it does not recognize your hardware.

Everything else works just fine just Squad has this problem

I have the exact same issue, my headset work everywhere else but Squad. My windows setting do recognise my headset

i know when you launch squad, then plug your mic in it wont work. input device wont show up in squad audio settings.

I do have an old pc and sometimes i use Voicemod in game, changing from my USB audio device to my Virtual audio device requires a game restart but both of them work fine after that. On Windows 10 i do have my USB as default, no enhancements on. Try to go to Control panel/Hardware and Sound/Sound on Playback get on your device right click properties and in Advanced where you can set up Exclusive mode mark both options:
Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device
Give exclusive mode applications priority

Keep changing your windows default audio output until it works. Including switching back and forth
