actually a game like Squad on UE5 might be less demanding on hardware..., its a lot more efficient afaik and makes better use of available hardware ressources.
They could just buy the FPS template from the Epic Marketplace just like they did with a bunch of the other stuff in the game.

alright, thanks. Wondering a bit about the gloom and doom in the comments there..., isn't UE5 supposed to perform better or at least make better utilization of available hardware ?
bad news for mods i suppose..., having to adjust all assets to UE5 is going to be a tall order for modding teams...
Even the movement is wrong. Lets these basement nerds run up to the hill in full gear for 60m to watch their "stamina" and Rambo (nonnoodle) arms....
Even Post Scriptum had mechanics, that moving through the bushes slower player, prowning exhausted players rapidly...
