Real talk, did they remove backblast?

Is it just me or does it appear that backblast is no longer in the game? I can't say how long it's been since I've seen someone killed by backblast.

To put this to the test, I went into two separate servers and continuously stood behind AT as they fired. Not once did I get killed by backblast. Can someone else confirm?

now that you mention it, can't remember the last time i noticed someone dying to launcher backblast..., personally i stay clear out of habit and check and warn when im firing one myself..., but have not tested it.

its there, I think devs should increase damage or range, did u get damaged at least?, and were u at a correct angle, cause that matters

the extended stabilization period, would be the cause and less deaths seem to be the effect.

I'm wondering about the same thing. I've been playing since 2017 and backblast definitely used to be a noticeable thing people paid attention to. And died to often if not careful.

Don't think I've seen a backblast damage anyone in years now, and even though I still say "clear backblast" before firing and hear others do the same, I've been behind some blueberries firing RPGs randomly and not gotten hurt to the point where I wonder if it's just a RP thing at this point.
