Community only wants to play RAAS or INVASION it seems. On the server i play the admins tried to mix in a bit of TC and Insurgency from time to time, but often the server just emptied because ppl only want to play what they already know.
Thank you for the reply, at least I know my game isn't bugged or just not showing any insurgency servers. That's unfortunate though as that was what was addicting in Project Reality. Going in with a huge army convoy into different Iraq cities just to get hit by IED's and small arms fire. You'd try to locate the target but you'd have to navigate through the civilizians. Or missions of being dropped off by Heli in the mountains of Afganistan and being ambushed from top of a mountain, while trying to find weapon caches.
You couldn't beat this experience. The RAAS stuff just feels like every other army simulator (arma for example).
you still get this exact experience playing any game mode that has "insurgency" forces in them. Especially maps that are running global escalation mod.
It's not the same as actually having to locate a cache. You know, having an objective besides killing all the things.
