This sanxian island map is soo good! I cant wait to tell you how long i have waited to get only 27fps in certain areas! It is just what the game needed - more un-optimised ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Only played it twice so far but i didn't notice low fps..., for me Skorpo is the worst map performance-wise currently.

too much stuff cramped into an engine not really made for it..., i think performance has been worse tho at some points in between

Who knows, maybe they will upgrade to Unreal Engine 5 someday..., haven't given up hope completely

Personally I like the built in wallhack that's so obvious on this map. I see every enemey hab, radio, vehicle, and infantry across the whole map with like three trees lol

Same here. Seems like there is way too much on the map outside of the usual playable area that drags down the performance.

IIRC wasn't Scorpo originally designed with more playable areas or something? I seem to remember post from back when it was in development to the extent.

Could be, i found especially when facing north or towards the water / fiord area fps go down quite a bit - probably needs some serious cleaning up - currently noone ever votes for that map as well probably also because of how bad it performs.

He said he has bad performance on the map. You said you have good performance, so he will think it's his issue. But we all know performance is terrible. It's gaslighting by defenition.

Performance overall is not great in Squad, no doubt about it, but as far as maps go i couldn't say that Sanxian has especially bad performance in comparison to other maps, Skropo is worse for example.

Also i didn't say i have good fps on Sanxian, i just didn't notice fps being worse than other maps.

You don't really understand what gaslighting is..., its when you try to steer somehting completely away from the orginal issue by brining stuff in that has nothing to do with the orgiginal topic, its not the case here.

Yeah I've noticed it quite a bit as well. Even the roads, something you'd think wouldn't get past QC (if OWI even does that anymore), can be all jacked up.
I take it all back, just played Sanxian Invasion and had TERRIBLE FPS, far lower than im used to. Kind of weird since in RAAS rounds on the map it seemed fine.

Was even dipping into low 40s, extremely noticeable. Totally sure this was different when i played the map the first few times. Should not differ by layer tho.
