To many cheaters to enjoy the game
SAD TO SEE ALMOST EVERY LOBBY HAS CHEATERS MAKES IT HARD TO ENJOY THE GAME WISH I COULD REFUND THIS CRAP

No that not true. If it were true they would have be the worst cheaters I have even seen.
Aegmar Dec 5, 2023 @ 1:34pm
Squad will have cheaters as every fps game has, but they must be pretty stealthy. At least i rarely ever see stats that seem unplausible.

I suspect that Squad has significantly less cheating going on than most fps games, at least round usually don't feel like someone is cheating, but the server admins on my goto server once told me they ban like 1 or 2 each week.

Unfortunately it is quite rampant and has been a serious issue for more than a year now. ICO only managed to make it even worse by tuning up effects that cheats benefit from and by increasing hindrances these cheats can otherwise bypass entirely.

EAC is absolutely worthless and even free cheats like Cheat Engine can easily be made to bypass it undetected.. It is quite a common experience for multiplayer games (when they have an active pop) for cheating to be rampant. Even rampant in games, protected by EAC, where there are MORE visual aids for a player to catch and identify cheaters compared to squad.

This is not even counting exploits, ghosting, and admin abuse.

There's a lot more cheaters than you realize. Or was at least I stopped playing awhile ago was interested in what was going on so came to the forums, but when I was playing it was every game if not a few. No kill cam/kill log really doesn't let you know unless you are pretty good. I would do 30+k games as infantry and seen a lot of people doing sus things on my team and playing vs me.

Having played the game for over 3000 hours i would strongly suspect every player who scores 30 kills or even more is cheating, at least outside of invasion games that last really long or as vehicle crews against really weak and unorganized teams.

30+ kills in normal RAAS rounds that last about an hour screams cheating imo. I get 20+ sometimes but then usually some of those are from artillery or i killed a full logi truck or somethin, but thats pure chance. When someone gets 30 kills in normal RAAS rounds regulary as infantry he is almost certainly cheating, i also basically never see this high numbers on my server, 20+ is already rare and mostly only Commander (due to arty and airstrikes) and some vehicle crews but only when one side manages to dominate the vehicle game.

Usually the whole TEAM in an RAAS round has something between 150 and 200 kills. With 50 players thats an average of 3 to 4. Normally there aren't even opportunities for so many kills and engagements rarely last that long, except for vehicles who can traverse hot spots faster of course.

When you are saying you scored 30+ kills in normal RAAS rounds regulary you basically admitted you are a cheater...^^ or the teams you were up against were totally unorganized herds of chickens who keep sprinting blindly into the fire and give up instantly.

100% bc even trying to cheat on this ICO can get you max 25 kills
Ham Dec 6, 2023 @ 4:27pm
I personally have achieved over 30 kills on about 5 occasions with either rifle, mg or vick. - one of which was with the G3A3 MEA rifle. (apologies if name wrong)
And i certainly do not cheat.
I agree though cheater has become more rife, the other day i had auto gl guy in my match, just wrecking everyone for about 10/15 mins.
Literally 20 mins ago i reported a speedhacker in my squad, he ended up getting kicked and a min or 2 later the server got ddos'ed.
I feel it certainly is on the rise.
Naturally it is hard to detect them though.

I very regularly get 20-30 kills a round, regardless of the game mode. Its not cheating, its just that the vast majority of the player base is clueless.

Do I see cheaters? Of course. Stealthy ones too. But the majority of people claiming hacks dont actually know.

They'll get caught eventually. Most will not buy the game over on a new account just to cheat in Squad. I've not seen any cheating but I am weary with the new players.

I regularly get 30+ kills a match, like more often than not even. I have long, long lost count on how many games I have reached over 80+ kills even it happens so often it's not a special event for me let alone 50 or 30. Hell I feel like I did nothing if I have under 20, I've joined games with less than five minutes left and reached 20 downs even.

But that brings up a good point I don't see discussed, at least for me: The majority of cheaters I see are on my team and not the enemy I'm fighting. You never know who on the enemy team has eyes on you spotting for who just killed you. But you can really notice it on your own team when people act suspect.

What makes it really obvious is they are shooting randomly at "nothing" and when you ask they ignore you or (especially obvious) try to play it off like there's nothing happening/no enemy. Yet at the end game they have just as many kills as me if not more and nobody that good is randomly shooting all the time and unable to give/refuses to give callouts, bearing etc.

That was probably an Invasion Round an not RAAS ? Your Team had 385 kills and 450 enemies downed, enemy did only 70 revives. RAAS rounds usually don't have this numbers. Or it started as a seeding round..., in some long seeding matches that became live later i even had 40 kills or more, but thats not really representative.

Anyways, when you do this regulary you ARE probably cheating.

Then you either just admitted that you cheat or on your server the players are incredibly bad and always give up instantly when shot. 30+ regulary and not as an outlier is simply implausible from my experience.

400 dead. It is either some sort of a custom server or INV. No one can be THAT bad at RAAS.

Now the guy is calling other people cheaters and making assumptions about them, this guy is hilarious.
