Dead game?

Most american servers are only open for a few hours. I am seeing a steady decrease in playercounts. Is this game dying?

y am i only getting 10 servers lol... filter reset. 150 ping max... na..... letting it load many times and waiting....?

just keep hitting refresh. The browser is more borked than usual as all the long time players keep saying. When I try and join up with my buddy its so much do you see X server and hitting refresh half a dozen times till it maybe shows up. The browser was always bad but it is now SOMEHOW worse.

Yup did everything I could think of. Including letting it sit there after hitting refresh ten times... Twenty min idle... No new servers... Fun

evry day i have less servers i play invasion on 44 th royal anglian server and i was refreshing for 20 min today to find it

Evening in North America right now and there's literally 4 full servers and the rest are empty.

Game is not dead. A simple battle metrics search can tell you that. There are currently 6024 players of squad, with a maximum in the last 24 hrs of 12697 and a minimum of 6024. According to BM there are currently 671 servers, 164 of which are in the US. The US ranks second in player count @ 1858 following china with 2826.

So to answer the question, no this game is not dead. OWI royally screwed up the server browser, to the extent that if you are looking for a particular server you may have to refresh several times (I've had to do it a dozen or more on occasion). This is very frustrating for everyone from the people running the servers, to the people trying to play on those servers.

Game is averaging its highest since it exists and is still going up but people still write "ded game", amazing.

It's dead because people who play now are braindead =)

The veteran players have mostly bailed, the clowns that are infesting the server since the sales don't know how to play the game and are not interested to learn. Almost every game finds one or two full squads in the middle of nowhere with a FOB they build defending it... God forbid you tell the toxic little pricks they are being useless and not playing the objectives... Between the infantry update BS and the perpetual free-play-weekend gaming experience, the original Squad is dead. The crap it has become might as well be dead.

they seem to always call themselves either "backcap squad" or "attack squad" or something like that. They use squid lanes, just absolute trash. they try advance positioning but then almost never get it right or change. when i started someone helped me. I helped maybe 30+ players with learning the game. Then when we got ♥♥♥♥ players who didnt learn anything kicking you from squad that was enough. There's no teamwork when the entire playerbase is brainded children

enough people cry about players killing them because they suck so they lower the skill ceiling. its a hipfire garbage fest now LOL

Here it is Saturday morning middle of winter so everyone is indoors and in North America I'm seeing all the once popular servers like EGC, SEALZ and many others completely empty. There isn't a single server under 100 ping to play on. Yeah, keep on adding more emotes and skins devs.

Right! I love the new trend, smacktards who create squads, grab the marksman kit and hand off SL... Then get mad when you kick them or disband the squad and they lose their kit... Getting to the point where the game is almost unplayable.
