Madness.
Why do I look at squad of all games.
You mean the game that I've played for years and enjoyed the way it played for years.
How does it make any sense that me playing the exact same game for years the exact same way since I purchased means I'm trying to get it "dat cod streamline treatment" How brain dead are you that you can make that link somehow?
You twitch shooter zoomers are grasping for straws so hard it's pathetic at this point as it becomes increasingly obvious how tiny of a loud minority you are, given Squad's boost in playercount and the overwhelmingly positive feedback.
Whoopty-do Basil.
That's an insult? "Twitch shooter" I don't know what zoomer means but I'll take it. Sounds cool.
I'd say I'm part of the upset majority, not the loud minority. That's you and your friends that were piled in an echo chamber all these years.
And if it was the majority of players then how is Squad seeing more players than ever? Why are veterans returning to the game after years of having dropped it? Why is Squad getting huge boosts in viewership on sites like youtube, to overwhelmingly positive feedback? Why are the people that complain about the ICO doing so in dumpy videos with like 300 views and most of their comments being mockery?
Get real man, the crowd that wants Squad to be a boring, generic, cookie-cutter Battlefield clone is tiny compared to the people that actually enjoy having real firefights, where teamwork, communication, and tactics actually matter. Servers are absolutely packed even at hours where there shouldn't be that many people on for certain regions.
The haters just can't or won't learn new game mechanics and leave their twitch shooter safe space where every FPS looks and plays the exact same because it's designed for lowest denominators and 'mass appeal'. Most of the people complaining don't even know how stabilization works in the update and they have the nerve to sit there talking about gunplay.
Understand that no one is forcing you to play, but the ICO isn't going away. It was a long time coming. You had MONTHS to make your case against it during the playtests. This is what the majority of the community has wanted for years because squad is a TEAMWORK AND TACTICS GAME, NOT LASER TAG.
