FPS Drops Drastically when zoomed in with a scope.

RAM: DDR4 3200Mhz CL14 8GBx2
OS: Windows 11 Pro 22H2 22621.1702
Resolution: 2560x1440

Game set on Medium Playing on DX!2

I normally get around 65-90 FPS but when I scope in no matter where I look I drop to somewhere around 30-10FPS which makes game unplayable.
To be honest since V1.0 and the later "Shadows and Lighting Update" I can't really play the game because of frame drops and inconsistent frames.

Tried clearing cache, reinstalling game, reinstalling Windows. Still no improvements.

yeah normally the frames are consistent but i've been encountering this too. seems to only happen in certain situations although i havent been able to isolate it. might be associated with dust and glare.

Same... The impact of the FPS is too much as you are killed right before you can see the enemy let alone aiming at them.

Both on DX11 and DX12 no difference. This happens on most of the maps, reduced on the desertlike maps.

Nope, still the same. I'll update here if I find a solution but I think its just a optimization problem.

its a known bug that has been reported multiple times in the past but is not being fixed by the devs.

Same issue, I played on Skorpo today and WTF sometimes my fps dropped to 25FPS With 3060TI and 5600X in Medium settings.

This game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ optimized

I found that increasing the FOV makes the scope FPS drop way less, but playing with a FOV of 100+ is not as comfortable
