Squad was fully released on September 23, 2020. Version 1.0
Ryzen 7 3700X Jul 7, 2019
For the new Battlefield, all will update the pc. but for squad no. :D
the game has lot of lods. The vegitation rendering distance are really long.
thats why its hevy cpu loading.
we need to go with the time.
3700x gets avg 60 fps.
2016 intel cpu gets avg 60 fps.
i have play 1 year ago with 4790K from 2014 with avg 60 fps. drops to 40 fps.
but i can do it 9-year-old cpu.
amd struggle with single cor performance why amd Ryzen processor's first generations
no good cpus for gaming.
optimiastion the people want. if they make the render distance less, we will get more fps, but the game will not look that nice, and players will be seen more easily.
R 5600 cost 120$ and you will have no fps drops below 60 fps.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iIJIyBOQBdQ avg 75 fps.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wGXvsTYQw2E intel better single cor performance.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pYCxFNQOYJ8 5800x3D cost 300 dollars for all amd users the not need to update the mainboard and ram. sell the old 3000 series and it cost 250 dollar.
grafic card optimisation its the game perfect. with gtx 1080 on high settings at 1080p i get avg 90 fps.
GeForce GTX 1080 May 27, 2016
the game goes with the time from graphics. player needs to go with the hardware.
On one hand, we all want this game to progress and grow into more
And on the other hand, we also want the game to run acceptable on older hardware.
I get that a lot of people have problems running this game and I am also one of them.
But Squad keeps upgrading their software ( to please us..and their pockets off course ) and not all pieces of tech out there can handle it.
If you have specific questions about your setup ask away and I will do my best to help you in the right direction.
On that note...
Im running Squad on a hp omen dc 51 with an 8750h clocked at 3900 MHZ and a gtx 1060 ( mobile) with 6 gb vram.
The gpu is undervolted at 0.85v and oc to 1850 mhz.
Playing at a stable 60 fps in 1080p in most maps ( helis still lagging like monkey ass).
Setting are mid but post and shadows low.
I want more fps......can any one help me?
I remember when I one time had 120 fps in a map...why cant I have that all the time ? ;-)
Just soak that in, like just try to comprehend how brain dead this developer is for deciding this and sticking with it for over a year.
If this wasn't broken for a year, I wouldn't be mean. But honestly this is just embarrassing. Like to actually be this stupid, and break everyone's game for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ shadows. It's so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dumb.
Revert the change. This really shouldn't be a difficult decision. This is really basic. Very very basic logic. Maybe need a new CFO or whatever if the CFO is this stupid. This is like massive levels of stupidity. This is like you have crossed the line, and need to be ejected from the driver seat level of stupidity.
It's mind boggling that developers can make such poor decisions and not figure it out over a full ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ year.
It's crazy.
Moving pagefile to a SSD could help.
3400 DDR4
2060 12GB
Samsung m2
Medium on FullHD 65 stable locked FPS.
Squad definitely gets a performance boost and better, constant FPS with a better stack of RAM.
