Constant admin abuse =SZ= , CoC violation

I´ve been playing squad since 2019, I joined right when helos where introduced and I must say that the game is nigh unrecognizable from what i once was. I am not going to go into detail about the toxic community that has thrived on the servers and on these discussion boards, but I will just describe an experience I had today in the server "Sealz West Coast" (renamed =SZ=) that reflects the "Reddit-like" environment you experience on almost every server.

I was playing SZ and I helped the server seed to a 100 players. This server has an armor "first come first serve" rule in which you can claim whatever you want, given that you hoped into it before anyone else and that is valid as long as you have a squad thats named "Armor". The seeding ended and it switched to a Skorpo layer with the VDV, "ok fine" I said and I created an armor squad (SQ4). I got in the BMD4 and then comes the admin which is sq1 (he obviously uses a script to create his squad as soon as the game starts) and says I have to hop out of the vic and give it to him. I refuse because I knew the rules so he disbanded my squad. I quickly made another squad and hoped back in. Admin starts crying like a child because (this is a grown man btw) he wants his bmd 4 and then he kicks me, effectively putting me out of that session with my friends.

Now you must be wondering why I post this here instead of appealing it on the servers discord. Well its not the first time this happens on this server and its becoming a common trend on others too. If you go to any of their discords they will treat you like they are the victim and end up ignoring the offenses of their admins. If you are lucky they might say that the admin was in the wrong and """forgive""" you.

Not only their demeanor is childish, but they are often extremely incompetent and get the vehicle killed in the first 10 minutes of the round. This people are the ones ruining the game not only for the armor players, but for whole teams. Off Wold Interactive (OWI) forces the Squad´s Code of Conduct (CoC) upon any public server. Admins abuse their powers constantly and its hurting the playerbase.

Sealz has always been a cesspool. It's amazing OWI hasn't intervened with how much hate speech is thrown about on it.

Admin who actively playing game should never got access to banning/kick or any of admin features.

Owi has to start intervening in these servers. They are turning their backs on their own playerbase.

if you don't like a server , just don't play on it. its really simple and effective for your time.

Your never going to know if you like a server or not unless you play on it, and if you get an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ admin who ♥♥♥♥♥ you over then it's to late at the point to avoid the server going forward.

it's not too late to stop playing once you've played and found out if you don't like it. Kinda nonsense what you are implying. sure you have to try it out but you're not glued to one server.

If you play on a server and don't like it, fine you can go play else where. I am not disputing that.

But when you go and play on a server and enjoy it, but you get some wa.nk admin and now your suddenly banned from the server for a fabricated reason, then your screwed. This is what I was implying. At no point did I say you would be glued to one server.

Literally this, so much this. If you don't like it, don't play the server, or even better go make your own server. If you got an issue with the game itself, then go make your own game. Kicks and bans are enforced for good reason. If you find yourself consistently being kicked and banned by servers, =SZ= included, then it's YOU that's the problem.

1st off no game developer should be able to force any coc on anybody paying for a private server 2nd there lots of other servers.

You agree to the CoC before you're allowed to play the game. The server host guidelines are another layer on top of that.

[OWI] headquarters are in Vancouver British Columbia. American laws typically don't apply to the intellectual property of a company based in a different country.

It's their game and they can enforce whatever they want which trumps any rights you think you have. It's ironic you kids will say admins are in the right when they bring up free speech and banning for whatever reason so they have to abide by admins rules or leave, but as soon as the tables are turned and OWI enforces rules on you as being a server owner, you cry about it. You're the face of the game as a server owner and impacting the way new players view this game and a single bad experience can cost OWI money. Cope.
