Squad needs to Dump the Squad Community Ban List.

After playing squad for 5+ years, you start to build up false bans after a while, especially on a gaming streak from admins who don't necessarily appreciate you. All For One servers I was banned for Mortaring Teammates because a troll was giving me false coordinates, and he was a squad lead which is the worst part. eXodus banned me for "unknown" but I remember because I joined after a Streamer joined, and a moderator I guess didn't appreciate us messing around with the streamer even though there was barely 30 people on. 56 Canadian Gaming banned me because i stole a vehicle from a teammate because if I DIDN'T, one of our HABS would've ran out of ammo and couldn't defend the front no longer.

The United Front banned me for being "toxic" because i made a joke about the Ukrainian war while we were playing insurgency. I don't remember the other servers ban reason but I never play intentionally toxic. Sometimes I mess around but only if I'm hanging with a good light hearted squad. And because of these ridiculous reasons, I am banned from at LEAST 80% of servers because Squad Community Ban List gives the power to ban people from basically the whole game to 12 year old's. I genuinely enjoy this game, but this is going to ruin it genuinely like it did with other games that tried to implement a global ban list. Others tried to get around the ban by getting an alt account, but I'm not doing that because it shows how much I care about this, and I do not want to get scammed.

This is no at all hate towards the game, I really love squad but this upsets me most. At LEAST implement a tag to filter out servers with this corrupt ban list.

EDIT: I don't know why some people are personally offended by this post. Sorry if you've been teamkilled before or dealt with toxic people. It happens but that still doesn't excuse that SCBL is a fairytale failure of a "automated moderation".

How hard is to play for a month and then you are free to play on all of the servers.

Besides if you just setup new account and never played in squad .. you words have no weight.

There you go again discriminating. Does your small brain comprehend that not everyone has had a steam account or played a PC rig before 2023. That assumption you have is wrong and its the same assumption these servers have regarding new steam accounts. If OWI squad wont do anything Steam should look into this impact on New steam players

I believe, that new generation Z is not able to communicate within some level of social politnes. I cannot understand, why there would be bans. In the early times, they were given for violating server rules, which is understandable (and not by speech, but raping assets).

Like you write. You got false arty support coordinates? But you should use command chat and you should listen the communication, either the server admin.

Your story sounds wierd, sorry. Maybe its not your fault, but luck of admins experience, management and rules set up learning and communication at first place.

There are two notorious badmins on the CBL that both hosted servers and cheated in officially sanctioned tournaments. Not only are their original accounts on CBL but their alts are as well. I bet the guy you're thinking of is on there too but you have to search by the right steam id.

The better option is to put "SCBL" servers out of the server browser and into the Custom Browser. If people want to "avoid trolls" then can go on those SCBL servers, while the servers with brains in the server browser will have no CBL and rely on the admins. If you don't have good admins and have to rely on a CBL that bans a bunch of innocent and bad players, they shouldn't own a server.

No, he doesn't have even a single ban despite being known for his toxicity (people passed it off as a joke since "oh, that's just how he is"). They would actually sound clip him being overly toxic. The double standards is outrageous sometimes...

I've been playing this game off and on for years and somehow I don't have these problems. The one time I was banned it was quickly reversed after I wrote an apology because I was being an idiot and digging down a HAB I thought was being useless (didn't understand vehicle repair habs were a thing). It was entirely my fault and yet somehow I'm not banned.
