maybe check geforce exp and let it optimise the game
Are you sure your settings are all right? Not playing on 4K resolution by accident? Maybe check your installed driver versions of your GPU, maybe you're using an older version that's causing issues.
Clicking the “Defaults” button on the Graphics Settings Menu will run a benchmark test on both your CPU and GPU and automatically apply recommended graphics settings once complete. As there have been some changes and optimizations to the graphics settings as part of the engine upgrade, we strongly recommend running this benchmark once you have updated Squad.
Also clear game cache ( do this after every update..just to be sure)
And could you post your settings and FPS after?
Thx
Switch back to Dx11, now is smooth
Thanks tons guys, switched to dx11 and game is smooth as my butt when I was 1 years old. went from 40 fps to 70-80
i tried playing on dx12 running around the firing range and my frames dropped from 90 down to 40 as soon as my GPU hit 100% usage with the killhouse bots turned on. i play on 2K, all high, TAA 4x sample.
running FSR 2.0 on 1.5 or 2.0 setting helps and does push frames as it also decreases GPU load, but the reticles on weapons look horrible and wash out really fast. almost impossible to aim with those.
