Squad

Squad restarts my computer after about 10 minutes in game.
I'm able to load in and join a queue, but after about 10 minutes of game play, both of my screens (dual monitor setup but squad is obviously only on one screen) go black and the entire system restarts. I've looked through every graphic setting guide in an attempt to optimize, but have been unsuccessful. Hoping someone has had similar issue they've been able to work through. I'm running on a computer that exceeds minimum requirements.

Spontaneous reboots are virtually always caused by system, hardware or deiver malfunction.
Most probable cause is unstable power delivery or overheating.

Hmmm - Appreciate the info. Any easy way to deep dive the issue? I'm 99% sure it's not overheating, and am confident basic things like drivers are up to date. That said, I'm also pretty computer dumb so any additional hardware diagnostic tips would be appreciated!

Additional info - It appears the computer tower it self does not shut down as the cooling fans etc continue to run while the monitors restart. After monitor restart, I need to sign back into my profile.

Look into windows' Event Viewer but that's more or less reboot-like behavior.

I never had to reinstall windows to fix anything related to my games in the last 15 years. So thats not sound advice. Maybe folks should use the Technical help section of this forum more.

you can use openhardwaremonitor for temperatures. But, i also have encountered system freeze with dual monitor while temperatures are in perfect range, has to do something with difference in monitor Hz. At least for me, latest gpu driver has fixed this issue.

I had to daisychain monitors (via displayport) to solve several issues a while back. After it worked fine. (not for a gaming rig mind you but it was the only way making them all work and without windows throwing the config)

I've had this problem aswell a year ago.
And after awhile of testing and trying to look in the issues i noticed one of my 2 ram sticks was broken. So my pc was telling me i had 16gb but actually it was 8gb. Due to not having enough memory while playing after some time, the pc will shut off to prevent bad ♥♥♥♥ happening.

Maybe your problem is else where but replacing the ram sticks fixed it for me.

check your CPU and see if it is heating up or not, that is the main reason for that.
