4. Delete SquadGame
This will delete all pre-defined config settings for the game such as keybinds and video settings. The OWI core on Unreal really struggles with engine updates and this will clear up issues generated from past installed game versions. The patch should have forced a wipe, however this does not always work properly and a full delete is cleaner.
in the game settings there is an option called clear game cache. doing it will restart the game after and revert settings. as for why its recommended after each update to make sure the game settings are not conflicting with the old version which might cause issues.
or maybe just use the in-game option that is made for this task on purpose !!!!
its not the devs, i studied game design for 2 years, its an UE4 thingy. well known for anyone that use UE4 to develop on.
