Why is it when i play squad my internet goes out...

BUT whenever i play any other game for prolonged periods of time my connection is stable...unwavering even... my internet is not lost to clarify but my connection between my pc and router gets ruined

I have the issue where when I am queued to a server or connecting to a server, my internet goes out. I am unable to use the browser as the connection is lost. And not only on my PC but on phone as well. But after connecting to the server, the internet starts working again.

It is a very strange issue, anyone know what could be the cause?
And does anyone else have these issues?

Gosling's answer explains the reason.

If you want to fix it you have to drop down the amount of server pings your Steam client is sending.

To do so:
Steam->Settings->In-game->Server browser Pings / Minute

I tried this but it didnt work

I had the same issue, worked out this game was conflicting with my Nord VPN in some way after an update & that disabled my connection.

same here, after all these years eems like this issiue still persist wtihout a official fix.

I had the same issue once for it was solved by the server ping setting. You should try to play around with it. Every time its gonna screw your net you have to reboot your rooter tho. The problem is on the provider side, its a sort of defence against to much data i guess. But anyway my router needed reboot everytime it was screwed and i manage to set the right ping to work.

do you talking about steam server ping setting ?
