Why do so many people create squads and then leave?

Title, I got like 5 games in a row where my SL would just leave and either give me or someone else the bag. Why do people do this? I get it if you have to go do something irl, but the people I'm talking about don't say anything and usually do it once the squad completely fills up. This is ruining the game for me, it seems I cannot even find a single good SL nowadays, might try my hand at whitelisted servers.

Yeah that's a pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥ tactic, unfortunately I've never seen anyone get banned or kicked for doing this despite having nearly 30 hours on the game. Maybe I've just gotten super unlucky but I've noticed it happens the absolute most with Infantry squads.

If you see it happen and know who is doing it, report it. Screenshot or video cap it, and call their name out to the admin on the global chat.

Problem is people don't report it and just sit there complaining about it. Most servers this particular problem is a kick or ban (if repeatedly doing it), but you gotta let the admin's know it is happening.

I understand that, I guess the reason people don't is probably because that takes too much effort a lot of the time, especially if you aren't active in that servers community. As an infantry only player (because it's what I like doing) it happens wayyy more often than it does for any vehicle or support player. These are just more reasons as to why I feel really pressured into just seeking a whitelisted server.

Why do people do this?

Squad the game allows people to utilize any kit such as HAT, Marksman or MG but simultaneously also be a squad leader with no penalty other than additional players present in your vicinity in order to drop a rally.

On the other hand, the front end of Squad otherwise known as the private franchise server hosts explicitly have rules that only permit you to be a squad leader with the squad leader kit.
