What is up with cutting out half your ammo unless you rearm?
I find it extremely annoying spawning with 2-3 clips, no smokes. Whats the point of that? The game was already long, now its even longer, for no reason because people go into battle.. dont have enough ammo... then run back. If you're spawning at a rally behind enemy lines you might as well just spawn at main instead to get ammo, then walk there... its dumb and adds nothing to the game.

Yeah i think it's a bug to be fair. I had the same switched load out and spawned in with 40% of full ammo count. no grenades 3 mags and 1 pistol mag . No reason and it happens on those times you need to pick another load out.

It happens because, when you sqitch loadouts in any other way than ammo boxes, your persistent ammo gets reset, and as you only spawn fully supplied when its the first time of the round, this means you spawn with only the bare minumum.
Some may say its realistic, as a rifleman switching to lat kilometers away from the next base, cant just pull rockets out of thin air.

Its not realistic. at all.... What modern soldier has only two clips on his vest...... Its just another thing keeping me from enjoying the new update. I miss how the game pace felt in v10. this game feels completely different to me now, and i dont know if i like it... mind you i spend 180 hours on v9-10. And can only manage to get into 4 hours now in v12. Maybe its just me.. but the game doesn't feel as fun anymore. And going by the games drop in reviews lately. id say many agree. Might need to change my review to bad until it get fixed or changed.

not the biggest fan of this new feature but a lot of the times there will be ammo boxes at a fob to resuply

Well that's not really realistic either, players should spawn at main base and rallies should be removed, because realism

They should just make it so you can select to Resupply and Respawn. Rather than run to the ammo crate when you spawn, considering you old player just died and this is a new life.

It is logically retarded I agree. You would run out of ammo in v11 anyway. Spawning with no ammo... pathetic gameplay

The reason ppl complain about the ammo system is because it makes it harder to play mostly on you own, and thats the reason the system is there.

Squad is a Teamwork game first and "just a shooter" second, if you are in an organized squad with a SL who is doing the job ok'ish AND squadmembers who work with him you will:

1. have had the opportunity to refill at a ammo crate at multiple points in the game

2. have at least 2 riflemen with ammo in the squad where you can resupply if you're cut off from an ammo crate

Of course that requires that you actually work with your squad and communicate, and not just join a squad for access to a role and basically just play "alongside" your squad and not with it.

I agree that sometimes when there is no SL who is willing (or capable) of organizing the squad that is not possible, but in that case you should just do the job yourself.

Dude try resupply a whole squad with 2 ammo bags... The mechanics are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ broken.

There is no "infantry" pushing, everyone just spams the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ tanks like a bunch of ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Yeah I hate teh ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ammo system. Was it even mentioned.

Don't forget to add the vehicles carry ammo too, a Stryker carries something like 600 ammo points now and so do many other vehicles, so if you're hitching a ride, you've pretty much got yourself a mobile ammo box

Until its out after two squad rearms and you're forced to suicide into a point unless you can run for 2-5 in game minutes to go back and get ammo. Sooooo fun. I know i dont have an interesting life... but i dont find enjoyment out of just running around from point A to B. The game seemed to have lost its direction... like the devs are trying something new. Maybe you're liking it, and all the power to you. But i went from loving this game, putting 180 hours into it within two months. To not being able to really last through a round without getting bored or switching squads and teams every so often just to get ammo or a better spawn location, something i never did before v12.
