As for people stating "some information" is better for local (SLx to SLy) communication. I dont agree there ether because I would argue that the more detailed information a given SL needs for X task. Tells the rest of us what chance he has at being successful and I want to get that indirect information as long as whats being talked about is "tactical\command stuff" in nature.
People need to understand that in real life. Allot of leadership is NOT a one way road. Its combined ideas, within limitations of course, with the "top rank" having the final say on given things. Unrelated, this is also why top leadership tell people what they want solved, rather than how they should solve it on the minute tactical level.
--------------
If the Devs should add anything to SL. Its so that the SL had the ability to put long and short range on different ear. Which is what people do in real life to avoid confusion.
