BF4 has jets and attack helicopters and the maps are a fraction of the size of most of the maps in Squad.
BF4 has paper aircraft and gliders that defy gravity.
Besides if they add more flying stuff and stuff to counter flying stuff it means even less players for infantry roles.
When you want a vehicle centric game go play war thunder instead, its already borderline too many vehicles in Squad i think. MBT's have already been a step too far imo, should have left it at APC's and IFV's.
yeah, with short view distance and completely unrealistic flight models on mostly densely built up maps.
Any even halfway realistically done Attack Heli in Squad would lead to every round resolving around that one asset - Tanks are already powerful, but they can be tracked by a single LAT, drive on a mine and most importantly can't be at 5 different spots in 10 minutes unloading autocannon fire and unguides rockets.
Would completely break the game and when you add AA roles and vehicles to counter it you have like 10 ppl in every team completely occupied with the "(counter)air game", just no.
If they triple the maps in size and double the player number per server, maybe, but that won't happen with current tech.
