Don't laugh.

Right, I have no idea how I ended up with this game. I didn't buy it, so I'm guessing it was in a humble bundle or something, and I added it to my library.

My question is, does it have an option to play solo with bots? I was put off gaming online by games such as COD and even Payday, with people rage-kicking and rage-quitting, when all I wanted to do was have a laugh. So for me, a solo version would be a nice way to get used to the controls and find my way around without having some uber-good 15 year old shouting and swearing and booting me from the game just because I accidentally shot a hostage (happened to me in Rainbow 6). I'm 53, I was gaming when a lot of young players weren't even born, but surely nobody likes a bad loser. Games are supposed to be fun!

So, what's it like in the servers? Always toxic, sometimes toxic or always fun?

there is not single player but the online is mostly older people, very rarely is there a kid. if you actually work and communicate with your squad its fun but those can be rare and depend on the server you play on.

Get used to the controls in the training it teaches you most things
Most the time people are pretty cool sometimes there are sweaty players but there are "Noob Friendly" servers where mostly everyone is helpful. You can always pick up a support role if you are not the best of shots and still have fun its mainly what I do playing medic.

i find that the few people who don't like new players are not liked by the rest of the squad. Its a bit of playing follow the leader before you know what you are doing.

When you mentioned "accidentally shooting a hostage" it reminded me when i played a game of squad... We were getting pushed and either i or an enemy killed 1 of my teammates... I heal that person, and right after theres an enemy standing in front of me and my teammate that i had just healed... I started shooting and i accidentally killed my teammate...

And writing this reminded me of another time where i were the gunner of a tank... I saw some personell and the driver had stopped... The only 2 reasons i shot and injured 4 people i think... Was because i didnt get a "friendly" propt until after i had shot...
I switched seats with the driver... And accidentally drove over some mines... :steamsad:

Luckily it was new player friendly so... :steamhappy:
