Black Screen when launched?

Wait, it finally responded! When its black screen, wait about 10 to 15 mins then it will load to the game.

are there any workshop mods still downloading/ installing? check your steam downloads. I had this problem yesterday too

Was just about to post to ask if others were experiencing the same issue. That sucks... If you give it like 5-10 min it does launch, i decided to test it out still unfortunate i have to wait a solid 7 minutes when i want to launch the game

Yeah I just waited 10 to 15 mins. It loaded in fine. Idk what causes it. I don't have any mods downloaded or anything downloading in Steam.

Try verifying game cache. Had that same problem until I did that.

Every server has mods now, the mods take forever to download, you can't cancel the download, and if you ♥♥♥♥ around while it's downloading you have to verify game cache because the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ mod download breaks the base game.

Between that and the 10MB installs that take 2 hours I'm just about done with this ♥♥♥♥.

You are downloading mods. Unsub and it will fix or let it finish

I sometimes get a black screen instead of the Keybinds screen. I just let it sit for a minute or two, don't try to alt+tab or anything, and then it goes to the main menu.

As I said. You are downloading mods. To stop it you have to unsub the mmod you are downloading or let it finish.

I don't have any Mods. I only play Original Maps.

Go in to task manger and close out steam all the way. Then click on the desktop icon for the game and it will load 90% of the time and faster,
