why would you call content you didnt produce "DLC"

Steam allows the games to have both stand alone modifications and Workshop.
Check Red Orchestra2. It has Workshop and standalone Heroes of the West mod.

DLC means it is not mandatory and is not part of the full game. This is new word for add-on.

Yes, releasing mod as DLC is not a smart decision. What if modders stop working on the mod/DLC? And this mod/DLC stops being compatible with new update? What happens next? Will OffWorld take care of DLC or remove it from Steam? What happens when Squad is updated and DLC is not?

DLC must work with updated version even if it is free.

It's not even their own crap, it doesn't even appear in the SEPARATE DLC PAGE FOR THE GAME.

Not to mention the game is Early Access, why in the frick are you releasing DLCs when you aren't even OUT of EA?

Fact: DLC does not mean (To buy content), they used it for the actual term as an 'Additional Content' to the game.

EA with DLC = Bad? - YES this was a bad decision, they should have integrated this into the game without calling it DLC in the first place, it raises flags because of what the Gaming Industry has publicly shown to their consumers that DLCs in launches and even pre-orders are a sign of inconsistencies within the game itself.

Body Armor will ruin the game's mechanics and balances, so no bad idea.

Fix: They should have just integrated this into the Actual Game instead of DLC. THEY SHOULD HAVE LABELLED THIS AS FLC (Which implicates FREE additional features that has been integrated into the game without having to download it separately).

You're all squabbling like animals for such a stupid argument which needs NO quarrelsome debate over whether it was a bad decision or not.

Just play the game, if its broke, wait for it, if you dont like it, go get ARMA or some other milsim game, there are tons.
