So in time I hope to find a game to replace this so I don't have to deal with this possibility in the future.
I can't even find their discord
Suddenly our FOB health goes down, in my panic I yell over the mic to go to the radio as fast as possible, I run over there mid-sentence only to see a bunch of admins digging down our own radio, destroying it, then driving away in their cars, saying: "Finally we can get some ♥♥♥♥ done", leaving us stranded. Not even 5 minutes later another enemy armored car breaks through, starts killing the last defenders, then intercepts a Logi and a helicopter and then the entire frontline collapsed and the game was lost.
Never joined that ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ server again after that.
The server is Valhalla
It seems excessive, yeah, but some servers are more strict than others. People get perma banned for accidentally misspelling "frag", if you know what I mean. OP story is pretty vague. He didn't specify how many times he crashed, only that it caused the team to lose. I could imagine either him crashing multiple times, or carrying a full chopper and nose diving straight into the enemy. As strict as it seems, that could be interpreted as trolling (which happens a lot) and result in a ban. Valhalla is not a server with toxic admins, so either his crashes were of epic costly proportions, or there was simply a misunderstanding and he should appeal his ban on their discord.
Like RackEmUp187 said, most servers require admins to have proof before banning. Not 100% sure about Valhalla, but they most likely got a clip with substantial proof before banning him.
You shouldn't be flying helis in public matches unless you've enough experience on Jensen's Range to land your helicopter in one piece, more or less. You gotta come down REALLY hard to blow up your heli on full health. Is it that much to ask that players practice first? It's not the same as driving a logi.
I get it, ♥♥♥♥ happens sometimes. You clip a wing on a tree, and then you crash. Maybe even hit the ground a little too hard and you lose ~20% hull health. Little grumble here and there, but it's usually forgotten about in 2 minutes. Just pull out your repair box and carry on. The people that get chewed out the most are the ones who persist in piloting despite knowing they're untrained, and keep crashing. Those are the ones that make people rage in All Chat, and usually get banned. This game isn't as forgiving as similar games like Battlefield. Partly because you have to wait 5-6 minutes for a new heli to spawn on Squad, verses about 60 seconds on Battlefield. Really puts a crimp on your team when the pilot keeps crashing...
