This game has gone to ♥♥♥♥ with cheaters sitting on LMG's instant headshotting.

Admins are ignorant and just say "they're probably not cheating" when it's blatantly obvious they are.

Fix this community before it's ruined.

first make sure you have some proof before you claim that they are wall hacking or aimbotting. There is another topic right now that is bringing up the same topic of claiming to cheat with no proof.

I'm a LMG person myself and it's easy to see some people in the grass that hasnt rendered in from far when they think they are hidden in cover. if you suspect a cheater in the game just record it and show an admin.

I have heard of people dying by an invisible person knifing and it has been shown on moidawgs steam. It was quickly fixed with an update and you can't do it anymore. All the wallhacks i have seen on youtube are old and dont work as far as i know.
Lastly, play on a server that uses the squad community ban list so you dont have to worry about cheaters as much.

Edit:Just played on my clan's server and i was on the opposite of my clan. Some of you guys don't have situational awareness and think it's ok to just move across an open field, sometimes it's better to use the hills or walk around. Of course, i left after that bc my squad was so dumb and the SL left.

There are cheaters in this game. Just search cheats for squad and you'll see pages full of hacks for this game. To deny that there isn't any cheaters is being ignorant. Most FPS games suffer from issue.

The best thing you can do it record all your games, so if something happens you have video proof to send to server admins... unfortunately that's the only way to deal with them effectively.

Also nice to see that gaslighting is alive and well.

Bipod weapons are God tier for ads.


Almost no recoil except for the g3 weapons.

The players who actually hack in squad make it too obvious and get banned.

9 out of 10 times, you just got out maneuvered.

If you encounter cheats, please report them to the respective server administrators, who will then go ahead and report it further to OWI.
Try to catch some proof because it's easy to confuse a good player on Squad with cheats.
EAC is constantly catching up with any possible cheating and will fix the issues eventually. IMHO cheaters are more rare on Squad than other games.

Most of those videos are to scam sites anyways where they phish your info and you download a Trojan. That's why they're using old footage.

^THIS! Last night I was playing invasion on Kohat Toi as a grenadier, and I was absolutely shredding with the grenade launcher at ~500m from on top of the hill. The enemy straight up claimed I was aimbotting. It literally took 1 ranging shot for me to zero them in, after that it's just point and click. I've flanked entire squads from behind and mowed them down. "ADMIN HACKER". People play this game like a AAA FPS. They run across roads. They stick their head out windows for too long. They run across open fields. Then they get clapped.

There's the RARE occasional hacker, but tbh I don't have a problem with hackers. Every death I experience is the result of my own actions. Usually cuz I get too confident and run straight into an ambush by myself, or get pinned down in a stupid spot (like a rock in the open) because I didn't plan ahead for enough cover. Idk where all these "hackers" are, cuz they sure aren't harassing me and causing problems lol.

This past year (2021) Squad has indeed developed a cheating problem.
Squad was not always this way, but the community changed fast.
Obvious cheats are still pretty rare, speed hacks/full auto RPG's, but you do see it occasionally.

The biggest problem is wall hacking, aimbots and radar.

After all, why use a wall hack when most barrels on weapons poke through building walls anyway.

And if your quiet, you will hear everything around you while maintaining situational awareness of where your squad/team are, so that rules out radar.

As for full auto RPG's? Never seen an instance of this at all. A likely situation is a number of AT infantry re-arm and reloading off a nearby truck or vehicle, or if they are within a build circle, constructed an ammo box in a building used to cover an advance point/kill zone.

i see some cheat that like bs as ♥♥♥♥ like infinite rpg 7 yes they are exist yes our team just get wiped until admin step in most of the cheat like wall hack does exist either they use secret like soft hack or the well who care type of hack the ez way to spot hacker is the amount of kill in the end of the match is not normal if the lmg inf get like 50 kill with weird chinese or alphabet name like hangi10489 or something like that and have ping somehere in china or in asia is prob hacker just ask the admin if they can in direct coms to see what they doing in that match

Yesterday on Bella's Battleground we had a insta knife issue killing everyone in the game. that issue was NOT patched out

I see a couple cheaters every week. Either they get banned by the admins after a bit of investigating or they wreck the server because no admins are on/the admins can't find them fast enough.

This literally happens every week and these are the blatant cheaters (i.e. obv aimbot, invisible damage, infinite rpg, super speed, etc...).

There are certainly even more cheaters who aren't getting caught. Any given popular server probably has a couple cheaters per day who don't get caught.

Cheating in online gaming is rampant and not just limited to Squad. We see this in every single online game now.

I used to help collect evidence to game ban these folks, and yea, every week there would be one blatant cheater. No doubt plenty others who don't make it obvious get away with it.

(and that's not even talking about the 'open' secret about the cheats the clans share that are not hacks, like removing vegetation that one clan did for over a year via configs, even in comp games, and using anti recoil scripts)

I play a lot of Squad and I don't see cheaters. Maybe sometimes but not anything I can point to with certainty. Admins are usually on top of this.
