kicked for afk (not afk )
is this a common occurrence? i was playing the whole game and i got kicked for being afk while i was running...

I have had a warning flash up right after joining a Squad. Only to ignore it and not get kicked. Never had this issue though. Maybe check with the server Admin, maybe?

had that only once in 608h gametime so far. No idea how to trigger this bug

Idk if you are a new player or not, but did you join a squad? or were you kicked from a squad and continued to play?

Could be an error then

no it's not the game auto kicks people that are AFK if they dont join a squad in 5 minutes

Thank you rank. I hadn’t joined a squad. I didn’t know I had to (first time playing).

Some servers enforce you joining a squad by kicking you if you are unassigned for 5 minutes or more. Just one of those things.

You should watch a tutorial on YouTube how to play if this is your first time

It's all servers actually, it's implemented in the game to prevent rogue players bc then we would have just a bunch of blueberries not wanting to join a squad and just go solo.

an old glitch of server botmin would consider sq member still as "spectator" even he/she joined the sq already

Nope servers do not by default kick AFK players. however most servers have systems in place to kick AFK players automatically. Source: Me having ran multiple servers.

This. Not all servers are enabled for this by default. I've often joined a server while waiting for squad mates to get online and played myself without getting kicked.
