Think my biggest gripe is militia has sappers, but almost never a motorcycle to utilize the IED. Prefer to not waste 6 tickets an explosion...
Second least favorite is CA, cause they were horrifically OP when first added to the game. They had the best rifles, best scopes, ranging on everything, scope option for everything, best tankiest IFV (even though it looks like a fat stryker), scout car that can carry 4 players with a 50cal crows... it was not fun. Recent patches have toned them down a lot though, but damn it took like a year for that to get fixed.
They lack a gun that has the same kill potential as the Insurgents' SKS which at least makes Insurgents formidable in the midrange, and most of the IMF's loadouts lack scopes altogether. The scopes they do get are awkward to use in practice, despite having a ranging tool built in.
Worst of all, Insurgents get the niche, entirely unique ability to double hab per singular radio; IMF doesn't even get this and has absolutely nothing unique about them to help counteract the overwhelming pressure that modern-tech factions can exert.
I'm not sure how while being realistic to what IMF is supposed to represent, but IMF needs a massive buff in one way or another for them to be even remotely competitive against any faction. Literally any faction vs IMF should be a theoretical loss for IMF. Either remove them from play, or give them a reason to be played.
MEA. Although I really do like the G3, this is just a little too much G3 for me, too repetitive and boring.
What feels like a disadvantage is the low rate of fire, the recoil and the smaller mag capacity.
On the other hand, it is accurate and powerful when used in semi.
and i almost exclusively play redfor (maybe except for insurgents since most of the time the team sucks alot and the game becomes a boring grindfest)
USA is boring as hell, everything is standard, CQC is horrible without m4a1
CAF is as boring as USA, with worse role / weapon except the "I am here" sniperifle, so CAF is my least favorite faction
For op:
Militia/Ins 1p29 is the BEST rifleman scope, once you get used to it, you can't stand any other optic because 1p29 up-side-down marks make you really easy to headshot, and observe your bullet landing at extreme range. It beats all USA, MEA, CAF and even russian 1p78 scope, only the britz scope can barely stand against it. But britz scopes are made to "hit", and 1p29 is made to "hit head", 1p29 had higher chance to OHK / Double tap to enemy head when facing britz scope on same skill level 1v1
