there should be a double tap
i love this game I really do but its so irritating that i can kill people and they can just be revived over and over again unless im somehow tripping out but more than once is stupid but i think there should be a double tap feature where you can just shoot dead bodys again to fully kill a downed person and headshots should be instant death

"Dead, Dead" is a planned feature, whereas head shots will cause instant, unrevivable death.
Nah, I'm not down with a Double Tap. To much like America's Army. Could use some tweaking on large caliber and C4. The IEDs work well though.
OP, I somewhat agree that the revive system can be rather annoying at times. However, the double tap system would require a revamp of the consume ticket via respawn mechanic. Without this tweak, games would pass rather quick. Practically, this feature would only be available via modded severs, psst, content creators! But yeah, understandably frustrating, but with the current mechanics within the game, the suggestion is not practical nor viable.

And then they have to run a mile from a spawn point after being (Double Tapped) and the team is just all these single people running around the map. If you can be revived, people play & stay together as a SQUAD.
yeah but it sucks clearing an entire compound at a distance as a SQUAD, only to have them all back up when you move in rendering your past 10 minutes of fighting completely pointless

Thats why you need to kill the medic first and not last...so he cant duck down and slip away.
at least make the ability to stab someone gives no revive

Ideally you would have part of your squad moving and closing in and another part (preferably marksman, Machinegunner, maybe scoped Medic and scoped Rifleman) killing those who come into sight from the distance / covering those who move in.

Thats how fireteams can be used, put MG, AR, Marksmen, Scoped Medic in one team, the rest in the other, have 4 or 5 cover the other 4 or 5 while they get closer, now noone can revive those and you gained ground.

Its the most basic infantry tactic and everyone understands it, but in squad we mostly fail to employ even such a simple coordination, instead either everyone in the squad is shooting from the distance or everyone moves - and when it works its usually only incidentally.

Even most clans don't manage to pull off simple fire and manuever patterns with fireteams.

Yeah, the whole point is firing and moving. If you're just sitting outside of a point sniping people, they are gonna get revived. You have to pin them down and then PUSH.
The "dead-dead" system from PR (meaning if you get wounded again within 60 seconds, you're dead) and shortening the incap time from headshots would (and hopefully will) fix a lot.
The Squad Ops Hardcore mod has headshot-dead, and I think it works. They have some other mods (like foot-mobile TOW crew) that expand the effectiveness of other aspects of the game. Good balance. Maybe like Battlefield, there will be hardcore server options organically someday. Try SOH server if you can get on.
