rpg 7 with the scope is so ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ confusing
i already saw guides on how to use them and practiced for a bit to see where to aim for the minimum and maximum ranges but its still uncomfortable as ♥♥♥♥

unfortunate

it really is since the other rpg kit doesnt have frag rounds

I don't see what is confusing about it. If you are confused after looking at a diagram then look at it again, and look at it a bit harder. It should just click in your mind.

You are dumber than a russian conscript, let that sink in for a moment.

If you're shooting a target that's farther than 300m with an rpg, it's time to get closer.

Aim with the + when it's close, aim a little higher when it's further away, aim even higher until you reach the lines if it's even further away. There you go.

It's really simple. The top + is 50m, the smaller one below is 100m. Beyond that, the lines have numbers which correspond to range. This is what you use for HEAT and frag rounds.

For tandem rounds, the double line in the middle corresponds to 100m range, then the much lower lines that go below the others correspond to 150 and 200m tandem.

For heavy tandem rockets, you must use the bottom part of the optics, much stronger "bullet drop", and ranges only go out to 150m or so for the tandem rocket, in the BOTTOM part of the rpg-7 optic.

the numbers with the curved line on the bottom right and the 2,7 is used to roughly range vehicles. align the bottom straight line with the wheels/tracks of the vehicle and the top sloped lines with the top of the turret. if done right the turret should sit under a line with a number (lined up w/tracks and turret sitting just under 4 means the vehicle is more or less 400 meters out). The blank top lines are odd numbers iirc(lined up under line after 2 means roughly 300 meters). It's not entirely exact and it's better for you to ask for FTL and put an FTL mark on the vehicle then ask your SL to put a mark on yours to range it. it's confusing for sure and you're gonna miss a lot but you gotta crawl before you walk! numbers to the right and left of the scope going from 1-5 are used to judge vic speed with 1 being slow and 5 being really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fast

nvm i learned how to use it after practicing a bit more

the major problem is scope scales are often unreadable on situations, you just can't identify the numbers and lines

Had that with a certain antialiasing type, unfortunately the only one that actually enhanced the picture quality. The lit ones never had that problem though.

New graphics options in V2 should fix all that

Read this in a documentry voice in my head, almost spit out my coffee.

big cross on top middle = 50m, the one below that is 100m. That's it. That's all you need to know to stop shooting over targets that are right in front of you.
