No.
EDIT: Just checked and I always play with a 105 FOV, seems to work fine universally.
120 FOV - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2233092711
90 FOV - https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2233092986
I've owned Squad since its initial release, but this is the only thing that I cant let go till this day.
It is just so annoying that it cant be considered a "balance" feature because you can change your FOV mid match anyways.
Its really just a huge annoyance.

A seperate setting for aiming down sights FOV would be a simple fix for this issue.
Its not a "fair" trade-off as lots of people will say low FOV gives them motion sickness because its so zoomed in its not natural. Also very high FOV would not be natural either so a middle ground would be good yeah? Truth is there never is a middle ground. Most games wont lock the FOV for everyone because people will freak out.
The two best things to do imo would be to Increase the FOV to around 100 and scale the optics accordingly and lock that for everyone, or do what I asked for which other games offer which is to make the optics zoom in properly even with increased FOV.
In a game with lots of long range engagements you can hardly call it "Fair" that people who increase their FOV for comfort should be punished in engagements because of that. I hate standard FOV in about 100% of the games I play. I feel like my face is in my chest and have zero peripheral.
