Cant start the game, only the title then endless loading with black screen

I'll start the game, and the title comes up. But after that fades away, the endless 3 dots in the bottom right corner keep loading on the black screen. Anyone having this problem? i already updated drivers, verified integrity of game files.

Try clearing your in-game cache. If you can't actually get to the title screen you can do it manually by going to the appdata folder > local > squadgame > saved then delete that config folder.

Have you tried to just let it load?

Um yes. i let it for like 15 minutes tabbed in and even more while not being tabbed in, weird thing is it says Not Responding in task manager when i open it, I also didnt tab out the last time it just didnt pop up and i couldnt even tab in, very weird.

I know it might have sounded stupid to ask but I've seen it before where people just didn't let it alone for a couple of minutes.

You've made sure to verify the game files correct?

Also some people have had trouble with overclocks. Both GPU or CPU overclocks have caused issues with some people. Maybe that might be an issue?

I have no OC no, i let it for a few minutes just now that we're talking and im pretty sure i went on properties and verified the files might do taht again. Thanks though!

Do you have any joysticks plugged in? Squad is kinda dumb in that it just blackscreens if there are joysticks detected on startup. VJoy too.

I am having the exact same issue with mine now. Even after re downloading the game. Did you ever find a way to fix it?

Try clearing your user cache. I don't believe that that is deleted or recreated when you re install the game since it is in your appdata folders.

game screwed up on me months ago.tried all the recommendation,but nothing works.i can play through my smart phone but not through my modem,keeps timing out when trying to join a squad.developers sucked on this crap.

What fixed it for me was deleting all my subscribed workshop items. Sucks, but it worked fine after that.
