How to play together with friends?

Is there a a group function? how can we join on the same server?

you pretty much have to browse the server browser together and join the same server based on name. maybe im wrong and you can join off the friends list on steam im not sure but either way its not ideal.

"How can we join on the same server?" Maybe just try joining on the same server? There isn't a group function and there never should be. Adding in some sort of party system might be nice for getting your buddies all into the same game but quickly starts causing more problems than they solve. The biggest issue that I would be worried about is a party system leading to more "buddy squads". These are those little locked squads that have a handful of players in them that are just made up of players grouping up in a private squad. The game isn't made to support this kind of thing. There are only a certain number of vehicles and players, and every little group takes away from this.

you can create Squads in a locked state (click the lock symbol before clicking on create squad) and invite your friends first before opening it again.

You join the same server.

This plus seeding a lower player count server so you know you get in with all your friends.

Once a server gets into the 75% range during prime time. It usually gets allot more people quicker because people use the browser with most populated server. Therefor you join with your 5 friends. Pick the side you want, but those that dont get on it because of imbalance just wait until more join.

When i play with my brother i just start a chat on steam with him and then agree on which server to join.

Well so there is no function, i cant even join my buddy via right click in the friend section...

Well thats kinda sad since its really hard to find a good server... the good servers are always full means you are in long waiting lines.. if you do this with your buddies, we are 4, it takes like forever to get in the game... The lower populated servers are usally with crap gameplay, people dont do anithing...

Once you in, you have the problem that all can join the same side.. thats nrealy impossible in most of the cases when you want to play with more than 1 friend...

I wont trash the game for this but its kinda sad in 2020.. I mean, squad the game itsself takes a lot of time to get in.. Overall its hard to have a casual round with your mates in the evening when you dont have that much time...

That all find and Dandy but i wanna play with my brother. And this makes leraning the game together difficult. I Dont understand why this is good

I wish you were wrong and sure hope they fix it. This game is based on cooperation and it seems the defaults do not

Plz simplify it. For some of us its not that easy with the server populations, wait times, and similar names of servers
