Modded .INI files

Why do servers not scan for .ini file changes? The fact people are still doing this, playing without any foliage/shadows and textures is basically cheating.

I'm not sure they really care, you see, they are already providing a cheat tool for the server owners so .... ^^

How did you know if they moded the files? For example u can easiily change the foliage setting max-low to see the grass disappear in certain place, and other places the grass still there.

there are many ways to tweak visibility even without the ini files.Also, the possibilities of tweaking ini files in squad have been nerfed too already some months prior. AFAIK the only settings you can tweak now are in the game settings anyways additionally you can manipulate engine.ini with native UE4 commands but everyone is able to do that with minimal effort. If you forbid this, the only ones having more ways to increase visibility via resolution tweaking are rich folks with newest high end GPU's
