Error 0xc0000142 [SOLVED]
I tried everything, if you can think it, I've tried it. Nothing worked, not even instal windows from scratch. Because the problem is STEAM!!!!

Just don't run the game through STEAM, run it directly from the exe file, and it will work. Same thing with another game RUST.

Never had an issue and if it was steam we would all have the same problem so it has something to do with your software buddy.

Good for you buddy, now you can go pissing someone else, buddy. Because clearly I wrote this topic to help people that have the same issue, and spare them from having to reinstall video drivers, reinstall windows from scrath, repair .net Framework, repair visual c++, and everything I tried, before realizing what was the real issue.

But thanks for being there for me buddy, and make reality clear, buddy.

I had the same issue with a previous build that forced me to run the game from the .exe as well. The following patch resolved the issue. This was some time ago, say 6-8 months?

I am not your buddy guy.

DieTard is correct, there have never been any localized issues on Steam in the history of Steam ever 100% true for real.

Let me explain: if strating a game from the STEAM library give me an error, and starting it from the exe file does not, it's pretty clear to me that steam is involved. Of course STEAM it's not the only issue here, because if it would, I wouldn't be able to start ANY game from my library.

On the other hand, if I have this issue with a fresh install of Windows 10, it's very much impossibile that the issue is caused by my software, because I don't have any, apart for the OS and Video Driver.
Thanks for the post. I've had this problem twice now in the last few weeks.
