Since you are new i would suggest just installing the main game client, check out the Tutorial and Training Range, make sure your mic is working, maybe reduce effects volume a bit so you its easier to understand ppl and find a good squad and prepare for a steep learning curve in this awesome game.

Do yourself a favor and practice with the various AT weapons. Infantry kits and placements. Figure out the sites and ranging. All this can be done in the training grounds, just play around with stuff. Makes you a more rounded squadie
