if its not in the settings then no!
I havent checked the settings, have you ?
Well when I'm used to playing games with an FOV of 70-75 for me 90 is high. Makes everything look way too small at distance.
Lower FOV effectively gives you permanent zoom, which would make non scoped infantry able to act like snipers and ruin game balance.
Squad is the only game I run minimum FOV on for just this reason - lots of long range fights and looking for people hiding in bushes 300m away. Not as much close quarters stuff as other shooters. When it's a really urban map I sometimes temporarily raise my FOV.
Horizontal FOV is a more traditional value used in older shooters. Recently however with a broader selection of aspect ratios (i.e. wide & ultra-wide monitors), vertical FOV has become a more popular option.
