Voicemod doesn't work in this game

I have played multiple different steam games since installing voicemod and Squad is the only one that won't work. Is there some fix or is it just forever broken until an update allows us to pick our audio input instead of it just going to the default every time?

i better hope it stays that way. theres barely anything more cancerous than ppl with voicechanger in the squad voicechat. theres zero need for that

I don't want to change my voice in this game, but my mic wont work at all if voicemod is installed and I use it in other contexts.

This more than likely has nothing to do with that program but a problem some have with Squad.
