Which settings helps with visibility
Hi guys, my pc is struggling with most maps to give me 30+fps. I wanted to ask which settings enabled easiest identification of enemies at range so I can only focus on these if possible and reduce every other setting.

You might be pleased to know that low settings all around help with visibility at long range. Especially foliage draw distance iirc

what is draw distance exactly? there are no descriptions in the settings page.

ive been testing things and super sampling seems to improve visibility best. the screen feels less blurry at the very least however it seems to be the most expensive parameter as well.

Lower foliage and shadows = win. You can see enemy characters and movement much easier.

Draw distance means how far out teh game renders certain things like terrain, foliage and stuff

Super sampling is for the best rigs. Its the most taxing option in most games generally.

You are literally computating more pixels for less jagged edges that a higher resolution would give you.


If your rig is not making 30 fps, then super sampling is not a good option.

It’s barely giving 30+ with 1.25 supersampling which i can live with. I tried reverting to 1 supersampling but it gave my eyes cancer.
