In Post Scriptum they fixed this with a great feature, with the mouse scroll you could set the sensitivity higher and lower to a certain level, really great when turning turrets.

Mouse+Dpi button = there ya go

I agree about this

I lowered my sensitivity REALLY low in squad since most engagements are far away anyways. It worked a lot better for me.

Oh yea, that would be nice... I looked like mad man over here while in turret (swipe-swipe-swipe-swipe-LEFT... swipe-swipe-swipe-swipe-RIGHT).

My temporary workaround is setting three mouse resolutions and switching between them, but that's using up 2 mouse buttons that could be for other things...

isn't it intentional?
You SHOULD take like forever to turn the turret!
Or do I not get your point?

Not turret speed (no problem with that), I'm talking about having to swipe my mouse half way across the room to achieve it. Temporarily swapping to different mouse resolution just allows me to turn turret (at same speed) without pawing at my desk like a deranged cat with his toy.

Absolutely do not suggest turret speed increases in games like this. They should turn as fast as their real counterparts. Don't make this battlefield where a tank taking a rocket can instantly turn your way and fire a 120mm at you within a second. Complete garbage. This isn't a twitch shooter, you need to be aware and run with a proper vehicle crew and infantry to keep eyes on the surroundings. If you fail to manuever properly or see something, you shouldn't be able to recover by moving your turret 100mph clockwise and instantly shoot something.

Agree 100% with that assessment.

Turret maximum speed should match the real life turret but this option would be good for aiming with guns so you can have higher sensitivity for moving around and lower sensitivity for aiming with iron sights and scope, there's already an extra sensitivity setting for freelook

^^^
This

A cap on the turret rotation speed would be a welcome compromise. As long as I don't have to swipe & lift my mouse 4-5 times just to rotate 180 degrees.

Turret rotation speed is capped.
