Weird Ghosting Effect
Does anybody else here have this weird graphical glitch, where edges and sometimes whole objects (such as building corners, scopes, etc) leave behind multiple a "ghost" or "onion-skin" trails when moving your view around? It's pretty damn distracting and can actually obscure my vision occasionally

You know that weird effect on your vision where spots/objects are kinda stuck and faded for a second or two?

you might be talking about the chromatic aberration effect, causing edges to be slightly blurred when you're suppressed or bleeding. usually sticks for a couple seconds until you're not suppressed

can't really tell though without a screenshot, there's a few different post processing effects in this game which cause something somewhat similar to what you describe

oh, that's really odd, never seen anything of the like. you tried resetting your in-game settings?

That is from TAA

Yep it was the TAA anti-aliasing, fxxa is horrible and any higher than taa makes it unplayable, so I'll just go with no AA :/

We need MSAA in this game.

UE4 uses deferred rendering, so MSAA is impossible unless every render output uses an MSAA texture attachment, which is then resolved/blitted to the swapchain. it's a really slow approach and isn't worth it

I've the same dam problem, first time in my life, looks like the monitor has like freakin 50ms. So if is the TAA, can i force another AA in NVIDIA Geforce Now or Painel? Check it out! https://ibb.co/52pqy5F (The problem is really the TAA, if changed the sample that was 16 to 4 and is fine now, not 100% without ghosting, but i can't even notice anymore and i saw no difference on the graphic quality or game performance so wtf is this option of samples for? ADD GHOSTING? AFF
